Coach Biography
I believe in the core values instilled in me during my time in the U.S. Army—honor, integrity, loyalty, and accountability. These values guide not only how I live, but how I coach. For me, it is always quality over quantity, with the goal of molding young female athletes into competitors on the field and leaders in life. Respect for the game, opponents, teammates, and officials is non-negotiable.
With 25 years of coaching experience at the travel, high school, JUCO, and NCAA Division II levels—including National Championships in 2004, 2005, and 2007—I bring both knowledge and perspective to every team I lead. My coaching journey began in Little League with my nieces and nephew, where I fell in love with the simplicity and joy of the game. Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for strong in-game management, often anticipating situations before they unfold.
My expertise lies on the defensive side of the game. Growing up as both a catcher and pitcher, I learned to be a leader on the field. That experience allows me to see the game differently and to teach players how to think strategically, react confidently, and perform with discipline.
